Monday Essentials: Enjoy The Music of James Bond
Here are five things to know about the week ahead in Virginia Highland and Druid Hills.
Tunes of 007. The Ted Howe Trio with Karla Harris will perform the music of James Bond movies at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center. $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
Eat A Peach. Rosebud will hold its annual Allman Brothers Eat A Peach
Dinner at 7 p.m. Tuesday. For $44 plus tax and tip, you get a six-course meal built around Georgia's iconic fruit. Call 404-347-9747 for reservations.
Bible School. Druid Hills United Methodist starts Bible School at 5 p.m. Wednesday for kids three through third grade. $10 per child, $30 max per family.
Christmas in July. Atkins Park Restaurant at 794 N. Highland Ave. will celebrate this December holiday a few months early. Starts at 9 p.m. Thursday with drink specials and swag.
Atlanta Downtown Restaurant Week. From Saturday through Aug. 4, more than 35 restaurants will offer $15, $25 or $35 prix-fixe brunch, lunch and dinner menus.
