Owner Deciding What To Do With Emory Village Chevron Station

Jimmy Parson said he operated the Chevron station in Emory Village 34 years before closing about a year ago because of health problems.

Since then the former full-service station has been unused. Some old tires remain in the repair bays and yellow tape has been strung around the lot to keep people from parking there.

Parsons said in a phone interview that he's still deciding what to do with this prime piece of real estate at 1574 N. Decatur Road, near the traffic circle.

He's said he's feeling better now and not ruling out the possibility of running it again.
