Police Collecting School Supplies For Zone 6 Kids
The goal: Collect backpacks and other supplies for up to 50 children.
Virginia Highland Safety Team says Atlanta police and the IBPO, the police officer's union, are collecting basic school supplies for at least 50 Zone 6 families.
Needed are backpacks and the usual school supplies. Donations can be taken directly to Zone 6 headquarters at 2025 Hosea Williams Drive in the heart of Kirkwood or to the home of John Wolfinger of the safety team at 1054 Vance Ave. NE.
