Shop for a Cause Wednesday at Whole Foods Market Briarcliff

Community Giving Day to benefit local nonprofit the Audio-Verbal Center, Inc.

Whole Foods Market Briarcliff is holding a 5% Day to benefit the Audio-Verbal Center, Inc. On Wednesday, June 26th, 5 percent of the store’s net sales will be donated to this local organization, the premier provider of comprehensive Auditory-Verbal and Audiological Services to infants, children, adults, and their families. Through the auditory verbal approach, children with mild hearing loss to profound deafness are taught to listen and speak WITHOUT the use of sign language or lip reading.

Customers can help support this organization just by shopping on Wednesday, June 26th.  In addition, the Audio-Verbal Center will be onsite handing out certificates for FREE hearing screenings. More of the day’s events include:

·         11am- 7pm Raffle Prizes - visit the Audio-Verbal Center table and enter to win!

·         11am and 5pm Budget Shopping Tour – whether you’re a new shopper or a regular, come get money-saving tips and tasty samples on this half hour tour around the store

·         All day Pizza and Beer Specials – 2 slices for $5, Large cheese pizza for $9.99, Large three topping pizza for $10.99 plus save $1-2 on growlers of beer!
