Virginia-Highland Bike Tour Set for July

Neighborhood bike tours aim to educate residents about the real estate market

A series of bike tours that aims to educate people about the city's real esate market is coming to Virginia-Highland.

Bicycle Tours of Atlanta is partnering with Atlanta Intown Real Estate Services to create a series of Relocation Bicycle Tours designed to educate people moving to Atlanta or anyone curious about the city’s real estate market.

A representative from Atlanta Intown Real Estate Services will take part in the tours to share details regarding property values, schools, area amenities and lending options. The tours also allow prospective investors to get a feel of the many historic neighborhoods the city has to offer.

“Being a native of Atlanta, I know how distinctively different our intown neighborhoods are and that each one has their own personality,” Robyn Elliott, founder and tour leader of Bicycle Tours of Atlanta, said. “I believe people should be able to learn about the multitude of choices without any pressure of completing a real estate transaction.” 

The tour also caters to those interested in living a green lifestyle as it’s developed to gauge accessible shopping, dining and other activities in order to reduce their carbon footprint.  Tour goers will also learn intown Atlanta is very bike-friendly and a viable transportation alternative.

Tour Series Schedule and Neighborhood Selection:

Saturday, July 7 – The Old Fourth Ward, Candler Park, Reynoldstown, Inman Park,  Grant Park, Cabbagetown and Sweet Auburn.

Sunday, July 22 – Virginia Highland, Atkins Park, Midtown, Inman Park, Ansley Park and Piedmont Park

Sunday, August 5 – The Old Fourth Ward, Candler Park, Reynoldstown, Inman Park, Grant Park and Cabbagetown
