Featuring original material from the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) archive kept by the Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library (MARBL) at Emory University, this exhibition highlights the tireless efforts of the significant civil rights organization to achieve positive social change in the years after the 1968 assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. Opening events on Feb. 22 in the library: Lecture with Dorothy Cotton noon-2 pm and celebration 6-8 pm, free and open to the public. http://bit.ly/SCLC-exhibition.
