Pandemic Grooves: World Music Performance in Atlanta, GA to Support "A Growing Culture" Non-Profit

A Growing Culture (AGC) is proud to announce an upcoming fundraising event in Atlanta, Georgia. The all night music performance and dance party will feature dance music from musicians and DJs from around the world. All funds raised will be used to support the planning stage of an International Pilot Project, which is expected to launch in Summer 2014.

The event will feature live performances from the international music collective, World Calor. World Calor ai...ms to create a positive environment where cultures come together through music to promote love, tolerance, healthy living, unity, and peace. This particular performance will showcase Sweden’s Afro DJ of the year, DJ Al-free, and the Brown Rice Family, from Brooklyn, NY, winner of WNYC's ultimate battle of the borough, who play in synergy an explosion of African, Latin, and Caribbean rhythms.

AGC, the international non profit organization dedicated to connecting farmers with the resources they need to contribute to an ecologically sound food system, was founded in Asheville, North Carolina in October 2010. In the past three years, AGC’s website, www.agrowingculture.org, has to grown to become an international library on ecological agriculture and the organization has conducted several successful outreach projects in Asia and Africa.

The Hangar is located on the Belt Line by accessing it through Krogg/Irwin Streets Corner. Bell Street Burritos is behind it for a landmark.
