Virginia Highland Tour of Homes

The 19th annual Virginia Highland Tour of Homes will take place Saturday, December 7th from 10AM - 4PM and Sunday, December 8th from noon to 4PM.  The event features seven beautiful homes and a tour of the newly renovated Briarcliff Summit Apartments, a historic landmark built by Asa Candler.  Local resturants, including Murphy's, DBA Barbeque, American Roadhouse, La Tavola, El Taco, Rosebud, Timone's, Atkins Park and Marlow's Tavern, will be providing food tastings at each house.  Proceeds from the event benefit the Virginia Highland Civic Association and will support community initiatives such as neighborhood park improvements, safety and planning and preservation efforts.  Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 the day of the event and are available online at www.vahitourofhomes.org or at Intown ACE Hardware.
