June 22 Cleanup At Zonolite Park

Volunteers are invited to help clean the park between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. June 22.

The Druid Hills Civic Association announces a cleanup of Zonolite Park will be held June 22. United by Blue, a T-shirt and bag company that contributes to environmental causes, will host the event.

The email newsletter from the civic association says, 

United by Blue will be hosting a cleanup in Zonolite Park in North Druid Hills on Saturday, June 22nd from 10am-2pm.  Please come volunteer and enjoy a day of fun!

In addition to United By Blue, our partners from Halfmoon Outfitters and Horny Toad will be welcoming volunteers with free breakfast, supplies, as well as games and giveaways!  All that we ask is that volunteers bring an extra pair of helping hands.

The United by Blue website says,

Volunteers can park in the large parking area off Briarcliff Road. Be sure to be on the lookout for our cleanup tent! We’ll supply the free breakfast, bags, gloves, tools, and giveaways, you provide the hands. Volunteers should wear closed toed shoes for this event.
