It's Almost Time to Tour!!

Tour seven beautiful homes, plus a bed & breakfast and enjoy tastings from some of VaHi's incredible restaurants. It should be perfect weather this weekend to Tour, Eat and Shop in VaHi!

Virginia-Highland’s 2012 Tour of Homes is tomorrow and Sunday and there are only a few hours left to buy discounted tickets. If you purchase your tickets online at http://vahitourofhomes.org/tickets/ before tonight at midnight or today at any of our three brick and mortar sales locations (Intown ACE Hardware, Aurora Coffee and San Francisco Coffee), you’ll pay $25. If you wait until tomorrow or Sunday and buy them at the YWCA on N. Highland Ave., you’ll pay $30. Save the $5, use it for Christmas shopping and buy your tickets today! Remember, if you buy your tickets online, pick them up at the YWCA on Saturday (9:30 am – 3:30 pm) or Sunday (11:30 am – 2:30 pm).

Volunteer coordinator Eleanor Barrineau says she still needs a few volunteers to round out her crew for the weekend. This could change but she currently needs a few people for Saturday morning, one for Saturday afternoon and one more for Sunday afternoon. If you’re interested in helping and would like the free pair of tour tickets that come with volunteering, sign up at http://vahitourofhomes.org/volunteer/ or contact Eleanor directly at vahitourofhomes@gmail.com.

In June we were blessed with phenomenal weather for Summerfest which led to record attendance and our most financially successful event ever. The current weather forecast for Saturday/Sunday in Atlanta calls for partly cloudy weather and temps in the low 70’s both days so we are expecting record crowds and our second successful major fundraiser of 2012!
