Armed Men Rob Cheshire Bridge Convenience Store

Chevron located near the Lavista Road/Lindbergh Drive intersection hit early Tuesday morning.

Atlanta police say armed men robbed a Cheshire Bridge Road convenience store early Tuesday morning.

According to Sgt. Greg Lyon, at approximately 1:50 a.m., two black men dressed in all black and with bandanas covering their faces, entered the Chevron located at 2319 Cheshire Bridge near the Lavista Road/Lindbergh Drive intersection.

While one man waited by the door, the other pointed a black pistol at the store clerk, ordered him to open the store safe and reportedly shouted, "give me the money, give me the money!"

When the employee explained that he could not open the safe, the suspect ordered him to take the money from the register and give it to him.

After the suspect had the money, estimated to be between seven and eight hundred dollars, he and his accomplice left the property on foot running east on Lavista Rd.
