Atlanta Police Issue Warrants for Graffiti Vandals

Seven men believed to be responsible for more than 800 acts of graffiti

The Atlanta Police Department issued arrest warrants for seven men who police believe are connected with more than 800 acts of graffiti in the city.

Police officers have already found spray cans and photos and property of the vandals “tag” after executing three of the warrants, according to a news release from the police department.

“The arrests of these individuals constitute a major feat in graffiti abatement and a great milestone for the Graffiti Task Force,” George Dusenbury, Commissioner of Atlanta Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs and head of the Atlanta Graffiti Taskforce said in the release.

A total of 29 arrest warrants were issued for the seven men.

Nineteen-year-old Douglas Grantham Jones of northeast Atlanta, also known as "Beav," faces four counts of violating the city ordinance on graffiti abatement, and destruction of property.

Twenty-year-old Michael Norman Goodman of northeast Atlanta, also known as "Enzo," faces six counts of violating the city ordinance on graffiti abatement and destruction of property and one felony count of criminal damage to property in the second degree.

Twenty-seven-year-old Joshua Graham Feigert of southeast Atlanta, also known as "Feed" and "Russia," is wanted on three counts of violating the city ordinance on graffiti abatement and one felony count of criminal damage to property in the second degree.

Twenty-nine-year-old Christian Peter Rancourt of northeast Atlanta, also known as "Perve," is wanted on two counts of violating the city ordinance on graffiti abatement.

Twenty-three-year-old Marcos Velez-Acevedo of southeast Atlanta, also known as "Shine," is wanted on four counts of violating the city ordinance on graffiti abatement and destruction of property.

Twenty-five-year-old Daniel William Rohrabaugh of northeast Atlanta, also known as "Steal," wanted on four counts of violating the city ordinance on graffiti abatement and destruction of property. He is being held in Clayton County jail on unrelated charges.

Twenty-eight-year-old Christopher Erik Smith of northeast Atlanta, also known as "Vomet," wanted on four counts of violating the city ordinance on graffiti abatement.

“These arrest warrants show the APD’s commitment to enforcement of quality of life issues, such as graffiti vandalism,” Chief George Turner said in the news release.
