Atlanta Police Plan No Extra Security for 'Dark Knight'

Midtown Art Cinema is showing the latest "Batman" film. No program changes are listed after the Colorado shooting.

An Atlanta Police Department spokesman said Friday morning the department has no plans for extra security at movie theaters in the wake of the .

"At this time, we are not aware of any ongoing or immediate threats to movie theaters," spokesman Carlos Campos said in an e-mail. "We are in constant contact with the FBI, and if that changes we would immediately act to notify theater owners and patrons and provide extra security."
