Emory Performing Safety Drill on Tuesday

Nearby residents should not be alarmed by police and fire presence and activity.

Don't be alarmed by police and fire units on Emory's Briarcliff Campus on Tuesday. Numerous emergency units will respond when Emory University stages an emergency response training exercise on Tuesday, Nov. 5. 

Emory and DeKalb police departments, DeKalb Fire and Rescue and actors will be present. According to an advisory sent out by the University, Emory has notified the surrounding neighborhood of details regarding the drill.

Th exercise is coordinated by Emory's Office of Critical Event Preparedness and Response (CEPAR).
