Emory Releases Sketch of Rape Suspect

Female student told authorities she was attacked late Tuesday night near the Emory Village traffic circle.

The Emory University Police Department has released a composite sketch of a man who a female student reported she was raped by this week.

As previously reported, the woman told authorities she was attacked late Tuesday night near the Emory Village traffic circle.

The alleged crime occurred in a wooded area between Oxford Road and Dowman Drive.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-to-late 50s, standing 5-foot-10, and with a reddish or brown beard. He was last seen wearing a brown or green beanie cap, a tan or brown jacket, dark blue jeans, and brown boots.
