Shots at Car Off Cheshire Bridge Caps Off Gun-Filled Night
A recap of a crime-filled night.
The streets in and around Buckhead weren’t exactly safe during the Wednesday night/Thursday morning hours.
As reported Thursday at Buckhead Patch, armed crimes occurred overnight at a Lenox Road shopping center and at a Chevron at the intersection of West Paces Ferry and Northside Parkway.
The first crime, a pedestrian robbery, took place around 9:35 p.m., while the latter, a business robbery, went down around 2:30 a.m. In neither instance were injuries suffered, but a third incident overnight might not have ended such way.

According to Atlanta Police Sgt. Greg Lyon a man reported that armed men who approached his car near a Cheshire Bridge area club discharged a firearm into his car.
The man told a responding officer that he had parked his vehicle on Faulkner Road in order to go to the Jungle Club. After discovering it was closed, he returned to his car and started to text on his phone when a man hit his driver side window with a pistol.

After a second man approached the passenger side window, the man in the car reported 'hearing a pop' and sped off to where he stopped and called police from a nearby QuikTrip located at 761 Sidney Marcus Boulevard.
It was discovered there that the vehicle’s left side trunk area had a bullet hole. A return to the scene of the incident revealed two shell casings on the ground according to Lyon.
