Stolen Car Recovered on Cheshire Bridge Road

Weekly crime report from Lindridge/Martin Manor

A stolen car was recovered last month during a traffic stop on Cheshire Bridge Road, according to a neighborhood crime report sent to residents.

A 28-year-old woman driving a 2006 Porche with Florida tags was pulled over on Sept. 24. by Atlanta Police around 8:50 p.m. on the 2000 block of Cheshire Bridge Road.

Police records indicated the car was reported stolen in the city of Atlanta on Sept. 21

The woman was arrested and the car was impounded.

Auto Theft

Parking garage on the 1100 block of Lavista Rd. NE; Sept. 18 between 5 a.m. and 1 p.m.

2004 Yamaha R1, GA Tag# YC62EQ

Victim lives at location; Victim advised he parked his motorcycle at location and when he returned it was gone. Victim stated the motorcycle was also chained to a pole. It was placed on the system as stolen.

Parking lot on the 1500 block of Piedmont Ave; Between 11 p.m. on Sept. 17 and 2 p.m. on Sept. 18

1980 Chevy, GA Tag# LASTL82

Victim advised he parked his vehicle at location and left with a friend because he was too intoxicated to drive. When he returned the next day, the vehicle was gone. Police checked to see if it had been impounded, but there was no record of it being impounded. Vehicle placed on system as stolen.

Theft From Auto

Parking lot on the 1700 block of Cheshire Bridge Rd.; Sept. 18 between midnight and 3 a.m.

2007 Chrysler 300

Someone damaged driver's side door handle and stole listed property. Victim stated he valet parked his vehicle at location.

Taken: Handicap decal

2000 block of Manchester St. NE; Sept. 18 between midnight and 12:39 a.m.

2010 Kia Optima; 2005 Nissan Altima

Someone broke out rear passenger side window of the Altima and front passenger side window of the Kia. Listed property was reported stolen. One victim also stated another vehicle was parked behind hers that was broken into, but that victim left the scene.
