Update: Woman Robbed at Gunpoint Near Historic Fourth Ward Park

Incident reported early Wednesday morning

A man and woman were robbed at gunpoint near Historic Fourth Ward Park walking from The early Wednesday morning.

The victims reported the robbery to police around 12:21 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 22.

Two men approached the victims with a gun pointing to the ground and told them to hand over their belongings or they would get shot.

The men ran off with the victims' i-Phones, identification and credit cards.

No one was injured in the robbery.

One suspect was described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall, dark skin with a bushy beard. The other man was described as a light skin black male with a patchy beard.

Anyone with any information about the incident is urged to call 911.
