The City of Atlanta Department of Information Technology will hold its third annual technology fair on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, in the City Hall Atrium located at 55 Trinity Avenue from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

This year’s fair will feature vendors and industry experts who provide IT services to the City of Atlanta. The event is free and open to the public.

“This year, the Department of Information Technology is working closely with industry leaders, including Microsoft and Socrata, to highlight the impact of big data and mobile apps in government,” Interim Chief Information Officer Michael Dogan said in a news release. “Our annual technology fair not only gives employees an opportunity to learn about the latest developments in technology and innovative mobile products, but provides information on how to use technology in government responsibly.”

The fair will feature presentations from industry experts covering topics including big data, mobile app integrations, and the latest transformations from Microsoft.
