More than 2,000 residents have cast votes across the county for the July 31 primary, the county said Monday.

During the first week of early voting for the July 31 General Primary, Nonpartisan and Special Election, 2,155 voters hit the polls in DeKalb County. Voters wishing to avoid the lines on Election Day, set for July 31, have until July 27 to cast early ballots.
