Adopt A Spot

District 2 Atlanta City Councilmember Kwanza Hall, the Young Democrats of Atlanta, Manuel’s Tavern and representatives from the Department of Public Works will host the first official community clean up as part of the City’s Adopt a Spot Program.

The Department of Public Works will conduct safety training at 8:45am, followed by a brief program to thank participants for volunteering.

Adopt a Spot is a collaboration of the City of Atlanta Department of Public Works, Office of Solid Waste Services and community partners to keep public spaces clean.  The program allows individuals, community groups, associations, and others to agree to maintain a public space for up to one year.
