Trash Collection Schedule for MLK Week
Take note of these garbage and recycling pick-up changes due to the MLK holiday.
The city of Atlanta's Office of Solid Waste Services has adjusted the pickup schedule for the week of the Martin Luther King Day national holiday.
There will be no pickups on Monday, Jan. 21. Collections will be delayed by one day after the holiday for the remainder of the week:
- Monday collections will occur on Tuesday

- Tuesday collections will occur on Wednesday
- Wednesday Collections will occur on Thursday

- Thursday collections will occur on Friday
DeKalb County has also adjusted trash pickups due to the holiday. There will be no collection services on Monday, Jan. 21st, and all collection services will run one day late.
The egular garbage collection schedule will resume on Thursday.
Blue box and yard waste recycling will continue to run one day late through Friday.
