Atkins Park Tavern Participates in Atlanta Beer Week

From Saturday, October 20 through Saturday, October 27, Atkins Park Tavern in Virginia-Highland is offering a special beer menu featuring Georgia-brewed beers forAtlanta Beer Week.

Georgia is home to multiple breweries, making Atlanta the prime location to celebrate these local beers. From Saturday, October 20 through Saturday, October 27, Atkins Park Tavern in Virginia-Highland is offering a special beer menu featuring Georgia-brewed beers forAtlanta Beer Week. In celebration of the week, Executive Chef Andrew Smith has created a special dish to pair with each of the beers. 

        Guests can choose from the following pairings:

·         Beer cheese soup: garlic croutons, house bacon and scallions ($4/$6). Paired with SweetWater 420 ($5).

·         Tuna tatake sliders: pickled red onions, teriyaki mayonnaise ($8). Paired with Monday Night Fu Manbrew ($5.50).

·         Braised pork belly and grilled pork tenderloin: Meyer lemon risotto, local arugula ($16).  Paired with Terrapin Hopsecutioner ($5.50).

·         Coffee-smoked duck breast: sweet potato and duck confit hash, cipollini onions ($18). Paired with Red Hare Coffee Cream Stout ($5.50).
