APS Parents: School Buses Failing to Pick Up Students

Inman Middle School parents said Atlanta Public Schools school buses are not showing up to transport kids to school

parents said this week Atlanta Public Schools school buses never showed up to pick up students for the first days of school.

Parent Robert Ross told CBS Atlanta on Monday a bus was scheduled to transport students with autism to Inman Middle School, but “it never showed.”

"We were ready and waiting, and waiting, and waiting," Ross said.

Inman Middle School parents in Candler Park also said school buses never showed up.

Atlanta Public Schools spokesperson Keith Bromery told Channel 2 Action News: "We are looking into all of these transportation reports on a case-by-case basis and will work to resolve them as quickly as possible."
