APS Redistricting: Feedback Deadline Feb. 24

Survey available on district website

Atlanta Public Schools parents and stakeholders have until Friday, Feb. 24, to provide the district with feedback on the current effort to redraw school attendance zones.

Two redistricting options proposed by a third-party demographer aim to address capacity issues at schools across the city.

The proposals would redistrict a small number of Morningside Elementary School students out of the desirable Grady cluster and send Lindridge Martin Manor students a proposed new elementary school, among other changes.

Note from the demographers: To enable us to identify the elementary, middle and high schools to which your comments apply, you must first identify the elementary attendance zone where you live or the zone which you are commenting on.  Please indicate only one school per session.  If you wish to comment on more than one school or attendance area, please complete this form, log out and then fill out a new comment form for each additional school you wish to comment on. Thank you for your interest in the Atlanta Public Schools.
