Former Inman Principal Named to Georgia Supreme Court Panel

Betsy Bockman will sit on the Georgia Supreme Court Committee on Justice for Children

Former principal Betsy Bockman was appointed to sit on the Georgia Supreme Court Committee on Justice for Children, according to a post on the Atlanta Public Schools blog.

The committee of 25 aims toward “improving representation in juvenile court; working toward expediting appeals; providing child safety, permanency and judicial process measures for courts; and working toward ensuring placement stability for children in foster care,” according to the blog post.

Bockman left her role at Inman earlier this year when she was . In her new role as School Reform Team 3 Interim Executive Director, she is responsible for elementary and middle schools on the east side of the district.
