Hours after Atlanta Public Schools superintendent Erroll B. Davis, Jr. released his plan to close 13 schools across the district and redraw school attendance zones, parents and residents are speaking out at the board of education meeting Monday night.
The community meeting at district headquarters gives residents the opportunity to express their opinions directly to the board. Those who wish to speak must sign up before the meeting and limit their comments to three minutes.
Patch will continue to provide updates from the meeting throughout the night.
