Meetings to Talk Future of Fernbank School
Two upcoming meetings will talk about the future of the new Fernbank Elementary.
The Druid Hills Civic Association is encouraging residents to attend two upcoming meetings in which Fernbank Elementary School plans will be addressed.
The first is a SPLOST IV meeting taking place Thursday, Jan. 23, at 6 p.m. at Sam Moss Service Center, 1780 Montreal Road, Tucker.
The second is a Fernbank School Council and PTA meeting taking place Tuesday, Jan. 28, at the Fernbank Elementary cafeteria, 3131 Old Rockbridge Road, Avondale Estates. DeKalb School District representatives will be discussing construction of the new school. The public is also invited to give feedback. Fernbank Aftercare and the Fernbank Foundation will proved childcare and pizza for children.
