Parts of the Morningside neighborhood — Wildwood northward — would be zoned out of Morningside and into a proposed new elementary school under option three.

Superintendent Erroll Davis said in several community meetings that the maps are a starting point in the conversation and public input will be an important part of the process.

, he said he has yet to take a close look at the maps and expects to see new options once the series of public meetings is complete.

A meeting to discuss the demographic study is planned for Thursday, Dec. 1, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Parkside Elementary School, 685 Mercer St. SE.
