Paideia Student Receives Teen Volunteer Award

Ari Allen honored for philanthropic efforts

Ari Allen, a student at , was honored by the Greater Atlanta Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals this month as one of the teen volunteers of the year.

From the Greater Atlanta Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals:

Allen is the founder of "Kosher Crew Atlanta," which was designed to inspire teens to be active conservationists. He also helped create "Teens for Teens," which provides music and dance concerts for the youth of Israel. He is a volunteer for various organizations, including the Susan B. Komen Race for a Cure, Habitat for Humanity and plays in a jazz band, "The Majestics," which performs for senior citizens and the developmentally disabled.

Allen also serves as Co-President of the Paideia Jewish Club and is an outstanding student. In addition to receiving the Teen Volunteer of the Year second place award, Allen's philanthropy of choice will be given a monetary gift in his honor.
