Emory Men Close Out the Season in Style
Eagles beat visiting Rochester in Saturday matinee hoops affair
The Emory University men's basketball team ended the regular season on Saturday, defeating conference rival University of Rochester 83-72.
Junior Austin Claunch led the Eagles with 24 points, and both sophomore Michael Friedberg and junior Alex Gulotta added 14 points. In his final regular season game for Emory, Senior Julien Williams added 11 points.
The Eagles finished the season 20-5 (11-3 in conference play) and now await a possible bid into the NCAA Division III tournament.
