Grady Alum Selected to HBCU All-Star Bowl
2008 grad Brandon Outlaw played in East-West bowl game
A Grady High School graduate was selected to play in the Historically Black Colleges and Universities All-Star Bowl.
Brandon Outlaw, who graduated from Grady in 2008, was selected among the top 120 draft-eligible seniors from the major Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Football conferences.
Outlaw played football at North Carolina Central University, where he earned a full-scholarship athlete this past season. He ranks third in tackles amongst all positions in the MEAC conference. He finished his senior season with 110 tackles including 8 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 2 quarterback hurries. His 110 tackles broke the 1999 school record of 109 tackles in a single season.

At Grady, Outlaw played on the AA and AAA Region Championship teams, along with the 2007 team that made it to the Georgia State semi-final playoffs in the Georgia Dome.
Outlaw is the son of G.B. and Kandy Outlaw and brother of 2011 GHS graduate Kourtney Outlaw.
