North Florida Freshman Leads Dogwood Invitatational After Round 1

Georgia students round out the top players after one round of play

MJ Maguire, a freshman at the University of North Florida, leads the pack of amateur golfers competing in the Dogwood Invitational at Druid Hills Golf Club this week.

Maguire finished round one on Wednesday with a 66. He shot eight birdies and two bogeys.

Tech senior tied for second with a 67.

Rounding out the top of the pack is TJ Mitchell, a senior at the University of Georgia and Scott Wolfes, a freshman at Georgia Southern University. Both shot a 68 on Wednesday.
