Eagles snap undefeated season

The Eagles suffered the first loss of the season over the weekend.

The men's team lost to New York University 89-73 on Friday, Jan. 13.

The Eagles were one of the last undefeated basketball teams in the country.

Sophomore Jake Davis led the Eagles with 24 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.

Junior Michael Friedberg had 17 points, six boards and three blocks, and Junior Alex Greven had 10 points and six rebounds.

Two days after the disappointing loss, the Eagles dominated against Brandeis University 95-58 to improve to 13-1 on the season.

Freshman forward Alex Foster came off the bench and scored 20 points in the win.

Davis had 19 points and eight rebounds and Friedberg added 17 points and six boards.

The Eagles host Carnegie Melon on Jan. 20 at 8 p.m. and Case Western on Jan. 22 at 12 p.m. at the .
