Why Go: Anyone interested in learning how to implement farm to school activities in their schools and communities is invited to the first Farm to School Symposium Aug. 25 at the Wylde Center in Decatur.

Why Go: Unplugged in the Park free concert series encourages music fans to get up close and personal with today’s best singer-songwriters and bands from the Southeast and beyond. This week’s performance is Will Turpin & The Way. Doors open at 6 p.m.
