Cheshire Bridge Clean Up Set for Saturday

Meet at Lindbergh Drive and Cheshire Bridge Road

The monthly Adopt a Highway litter pickup is set for Saturday, May 12.

The group will gather at 9 a.m. at the old Varsity Jr. on Lindbergh Drive just off Cheshire Bridge Road.

Volunteers will be given orange safety vests and blue, rubber work gloves. Bring extra gloves and reachers if you have them. Snacks (homemade) and water will be provided.

The clean up will include portions of LaVista Road and Lindbergh Drive, depending on how many people attend.

To adequately cover the entire corridor, a minimum of eight volunteers is needed, according to organizers.

The monthly event is organized by the Lindbergh-LaVista Corridor Coalition and the Lindridge Martin Manor Neighborhood Association.
