1. Atlanta Jazz Festival. The music plays Friday-Sunday at Piedmont Park. Some of the artists include Lemonade Jones, the Infinite Sound Family and Milkshake Mayfield. For all the details, go to the festival website. Free admission.
2. Live music. Some of performers in bars and clubs include Sean Thomason on Friday and Saturday at Limerick Junction; Sandra Hall on Friday and Houserocker Johnson on Saturday at Blind Willie's; Parker Smith on Saturday and the House Trio on Sunday at the Family Dog.

3. New movies. New flicks coming out this week include Epic, Fast and Furious 6, The Hangover Part III, Star Trek: Into Darkness, Something in the Air and The Reluctant Fundamentalist.
4. Arts for everybody. The Decatur Arts Festival is a major event that takes over the town Saturday and Sunday. The fun actually starts Friday with an ArtsWalk to local businesses and a fine arts exhibition at Agnes Scott College.
