The Carter Library & Museum serves as the repository for more than 27 million documents, letters, videos and photographs, chronicling the presidency of Jimmy Carter. Set on 35 acres of gardens in Atlanta's Poncey-Highland neighborhood, it also is the home of the Carter Center, which, along with Emory University, focuses on human rights and political issues around the world.
