St. John Chrysostom Melkite Catholic Church, operating out of a striking campus designed in the Byzantine tradition, is located on Ponce De Leon Avenue, north of Briarcliff Road/Moreland Avenue.  The term Melkite is used to refer to Catholics whose ancestry can be Middle Eastern or those who follow the Byzantine tradition in worship, theology, and spirituality.  The church offers worship, marriage, confession, Christian Initiation, and Holy Annointing services.  Worship services, referred to as "Orthros" in the Melkite tradition, are held Sundays at 10:30am.
