Grady, Inman Students Meet AYP Standards

Springdale Park and Morningside students also hit federal benchmark

Roughly 94 percent of Grady High School students met or exceeded the federal benchmark set for yearly progress in English Language Arts, according to test scores released by the Georgia Department of Education. The Georgia Department of Education held off on announcing Adequate Yearly Progress for Atlanta Public Schools after investigators uncovered a district-wide cheating scandal in July. More than 85 percent of Grady students met or exceeded the federal benchmark set for yearly progress in math, according to the results. Students at Inman Middle School, which feeds into Grady, performed well on the state-wide standardized tests.
