New York-based Murray's Cheese is hosting a fondue party at the Kroger on Monroe Drive this Saturday, Dec. 15, from 2 to 6 pm. Fondue Nation – whose slogan is, one nation melting cheese – is a nationwide cheese melting and tasting event designed to publicize fondue cooking in each one of Murray’s Cheese 70 outlets. Murray’s fondue recipes will be also available for attendees to take home. A total of six metro Atlanta Krogers will be participating in Saturday's event.

Two-week school supply drive for Metro Atlanta’s less fortunate begins Monday
Kroger’s Atlanta Division, in partnership with the Children’s Restoration Network and WSB-TV, is holding its 18th annual “Back 2 School” campaign from July 16 – 28, during which 125 Kroger stores will serve as school supply drop-off sites to benefit metro Atlanta children. Trio of suspects left in orange Honda Passport.
Atlanta police are looking for a trio of gunmen who robbed two men in the parking lot of the Kroger at 725 Ponce de Leon Ave. late Thursday evening. The victims, who were with two witnesses, told police they parked in the lot around 11 p.m. They were walking to the Masquerade at 695 North Ave. when they were approached by two gunmen in the rear of the Kroger parking lot, nearer to the North Avenue entrance by the truck loading docks. One of the gunmen approached the two victims and began asking a series of questions according to the report. They asked the victims where they were from and if they had any money. Group surpasses fundraising goal by more than $50,000
Customers and associates of Kroger’s Atlanta Division donated more than $413,000 during a three-week fundraiser benefiting Children’s Miracle Network. From May 13 through June 2, customers purchased $1 hot-air balloon icons — known to many as “Miracle Balloons” — to fund medical care and outreach programs at Children’s Miracle Network hospitals in their local communities. The group surpassed the $350,000 fundraising goal by more than $63,000.
