Year in Review: Top News Stories for VaHi-Druid Hills in 2012

These are some of the most popular stories among Patch readers for the past year. Vote for the one you think is the top story for the Virginia-Highland/Druid Hills community.

It has been a busy year in the Virginia-Highland/Druid Hills Patch community. Parents have kept a close eye on the lingering issues related to the redrawing of APS school attendance zones and crowding at Inman Middle. Development issues have been in the news, with the announcement that the historic Ponce Apartments would be renovated, and the new mixed-use Emory Point development opening its first phase. Sadly, there was also crime, including shooting deaths, a scary incident when a man trying to snatch a girl in her own home, and the armed robbery of patrons at a local pub.
