Pura Vida closed its doors for good after serving a final round of food and drinks to customers on Dec. 31. The restaurant had operated for 12 years at this location on North Highland, next door to Soul Vegetarian Restaurant South. What would you like to see move in? Another restaurant? Something else? What do you think should move into this vacant storefront?
Earlier this summer, Ponce Realty relocated their office just a few blocks down the road. The former office location at 1057 Ponce de Leon Ave. is now vacant. What would you like to see move into the shopping center that houses the historic Plaza Theater? Tell us in the comments.

What would you like to see open in Morningside?
Last year, Movies Worth Seeing shut its doors after serving the community for 25 years. The independent video rental store in Morningside featured the metro area’s best selection of classic, foreign, documentary, obscure and critically acclaimed films, along with new releases and television series. What would you like to see open in Virginia-Highland?
After 15 years in the neighborhood, Wired & Fired shut the doors to its Virginia Avenue location in the heart of Virginia-Highland at the end of February 2012 and relocated the pottery playhouse to Marietta Street in Midtown. Last year, Ben and Jerry's shut the doors of its Virginia-Highland location on N. Highland Avenue. What do you think should replace Ben and Jerry's? Tell us in the comments!
