Druid Hills High closed its annex at the DeKalb School of the Arts on Friday. In an email to the PTA, school Principal Mindee Adamson wrote: On Friday, 8/24, the decision was made to close the annex. With Open House at both campuses the following week, I decided to make the announcement face to face starting with the annex on the 28th. Students at the annex were given letters on Wednesday, 8/29, to take home to their parents in case they were not in attendance at Open House. Tonight, 8/30, I made the announcement to the main campus families who attended Open House.
