Update: All Lanes of Ponce Reopened
A large tree fell on Ponce near the Clifton Road intersection around 5 a.m. Thursday.
Update: All four lanes of Ponce de Leon Avenue have reopened around 9:30 a.m. after being closed for hours because of a large tree that fell near Clifton Road, Fox 5 reported on Twitter.
Previous story: A huge tree fell early Thursday morning onto Ponce de Leon Avenue near Clifton Road, blocking traffic during the early AM rush hour.
All lanes of Ponce were blocked in both directions, according to the AJC.
