Friday, June 21, Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q is celebrating the birthday of a dear
friend. Charlotte Nelson was the beloved friend and head chef at Fox Bros
Bar-B-Q until she was diagnosed with stage four inflammatory breast cancer in
November of 2012 and lost her battle in February 2013. In her honor, the
restaurant will be donating 20 percent of Friday’s sales at Fox Bros Bar-b-q to
Staplehouse, a not for profit restaurant from local culinary fixtures Ryan and
Jen Hidinger. Staplehouse is a one of a kind restaurant experience that blends
exceptional food and charity, with proceeds from Staplehouse being donated to
The Giving Kitchen, the foundation the Hidinger's set up to help service
industry folks with medical bills. The money raised this Friday will be added
onto the $11,200 donation from Fox Bros. Bar-b-q and the Charlotte's Web event
held in February 2013. Be a part of something bigger and eat to give!
